Rachub

Rachub occupies a prime spot in Gwynedd's former slate heartland, surrounded by the dramatic quarry terraces that define this corner of Snowdonia. The A5 provides the main connection via Bethesda, linking to Bangor and the A55, whilst local roads serve the scattered valley communities. The village sits directly beneath the spectacular stepped terraces of Penrhyn Quarry, creating one of Wales' most striking industrial landscapes.
