Putney Village lies on the Thames's south bank in southwest London, part of Wandsworth borough. Reach it via the A3 from town or M25 Junction 10, with local routes including the A238 from Richmond and Kingston. The area centres on Putney High Street near the famous bridge, with Georgian terraces and independent shops creating a village feel. It's the starting point for the annual Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race each spring.
