Pumpsaint

Pumpsaint lies in Carmarthenshire's gentle hills, where Roman gold mines once flourished at nearby Dolaucothi. Reach it via the A482 from Llandeilo (15km) or longer routes from Cardiff using the A40. The village name means "five saints," after five stone seats carved into a single boulder where legend says traveling saints once rested.
