Prickwillow

Prickwillow lies in the Cambridgeshire Fens, eight kilometres northwest of Ely via the A142 and local roads. The village sits on reclaimed marshland where the Great Ouse once flooded regularly. Access is straightforward from the A10 Cambridge corridor, with local connections through Queen Adelaide and Littleport. The Prickwillow Museum occupies a Victorian pumping station with working beam engines that once drained these ancient wetlands.
