Portachoillan

Portachoillan perches on Kintyre's wild western coast, facing Jura across the Sound. Reach it via the A83 to Tarbert, then the scenic B8001 coastal road. The journey from Glasgow takes about three hours through dramatic Highland scenery. Two fast EV chargers serve the area, handy for the remote location. Seals regularly bask on the rocky shores directly below the village.
