Pooley Bridge

Pooley Bridge sits where Ullswater meets the River Eamont in the northern Lakes, accessible via the A592 from Junction 40 of the M6. The village serves as a gateway to England's second-largest natural lake, with the dramatic fells rising directly from the water's edge. The stone bridge spanning the River Eamont was rebuilt in 2009 after floods destroyed its Victorian predecessor.
