Pontyates is a former mining village in Carmarthenshire, positioned between Llanelli and Swansea via the A484. The village sits at a natural junction point, with short drives to neighbouring communities like Pont Henri and Cynheidre. With approximately 60 public fast chargers nearby, it's well-served for electric vehicles. The old railway bridge still spans what's now the Heart of Wales walking path.
