Pofadder sits on the N14 in the Northern Cape, roughly halfway between Upington and Springbok, so it's a natural stop if you're driving through Bushmanland. Locals nip out to Pella, Aggeneys or Onseepkans for supplies or work, while travellers from as far as the Western Cape use the N14 as a through-route. Fill up here, EV chargers are few and far between in these parts. Fun fact, the town's cheeky name has made it a favourite selfie stop for tourists.
