Placentia is a residential city in northern Orange County, positioned between the Chino Hills and Santa Ana River. The 57 Freeway runs along its eastern edge, connecting north to Diamond Bar and south to Santa Ana, while the 91 Freeway provides access to LA and San Diego. Local routes include Yorba Linda Boulevard to Brea and Orangethorpe Avenue to Fullerton and Anaheim. The city is home to Swanson's Nursery, a massive 20-acre garden center operating since 1954.
