Pity Me

Pity Me lies just northwest of Durham city, reached via the A167 from Junction 63 of the A1(M). The village connects easily to Durham's cathedral quarter and serves nearby communities like Framwellgate Moor. Electric vehicle charging is excellent with over 250 fast chargers regionally. The name supposedly comes from French "Petit Mer," and the Grade II listed Pithead Baths recall the area's mining past.
