Penwortham lies just south of Preston across the Ribble, easily reached from M6 Junction 31 via the A59. The town sits on key routes including the A59 to Southport and Yorkshire, plus the A582 Ribble Bridge connection to Preston. With over 100 EV charging points nearby and excellent motorway links, it's well-positioned for both local Lancashire travel and longer journeys. The hilltop ruins of Penwortham Priory, dating from 1087, overlook the river valley.
