Pencaitland is a small East Lothian village about 20 miles east of Edinburgh, reached via the A1 and A6093 through Haddington or the A68 and B6368 for a more scenic route. Set in gentle farming country with the Lammermuirs nearby, it's a quiet spot with good EV charging coverage across the area. The village boasts one of East Lothian's finest surviving medieval mercat crosses.
