Ossington

Ossington lies in central Nottinghamshire along the A1133, roughly 20km northeast of Newark. Most visitors arrive via the A1, turning off at Markham Moor and following the A57 through Carlton on Trent. The village connects to Nottingham via the A614 through Ollerton, whilst the quieter B6387 provides a scenic route from Sutton on Trent. The striking Gothic Revival church of Holy Trinity, built in 1782, features an distinctive spire visible across the surrounding countryside.
