Olivet, KS

Olivet is a small farming community in east-central Kansas, about 50 miles southwest of Kansas City along US Highway 169. The town sits in rolling hills near the Marais des Cygnes River, surrounded by cattle ranches and crop fields. Most visitors arrive via US-169 from Kansas City or connect through State Highway 31 for east-west travel. The 1902 Olivet United Methodist Church with its white steeple serves as the town's most visible landmark from the highway.
