Old Tree is a small Kentish village positioned amongst the farmland between Canterbury and the Thanet coast. Access is via the A28 or local roads from the A299 Thanet Way. It's surrounded by similarly sized settlements like Hoath and Chislet, with Canterbury 20 minutes west and the coastal resorts easily reachable. The village retains its ancient oak tree in the centre, which gives the place its name and remains an impressive sight.
