About Old Kent Road

Old Kent Road is one of London's oldest routes, following the ancient Roman Watling Street from Elephant & Castle southeast toward Kent. Access it via the A2 from central London or connect from the M25 for longer journeys to Dover and the continent. The road serves both local traffic between Southwark and Lewisham and long-distance travellers heading for the Channel ports. It famously appears as the cheapest property on the original Monopoly board.
