3About Newhaven
Newhaven is a working port and ferry terminal on the East Sussex coast where the River Ouse meets the Channel. The A259 coastal road connects it to Brighton (12 miles east) and other seaside towns, whilst the A26 runs inland via Lewes. With roughly 300 EV charging points nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The town's swing bridge still opens for river traffic heading upstream.
