New Works

New Works lies within Telford in Shropshire, easily reached via the M54 motorway from Junction 4 or 5. The A442 provides the main north-south route through the area, whilst the M54 connects to Birmingham in 40 kilometers. Local routes include the A4169 and A518 serving daily commuter traffic. Electric vehicle charging is well-covered with roughly 50 fast chargers nearby. The area forms part of Telford New Town, one of Britain's final major new towns, designated in 1963 to transform rural Shropshire into a planned urban center.
