New Hanover is a small farming town in the KZN Midlands, best reached via the R33 linking Pietermaritzburg and Greytown, or off the N3 if you're coming from Durban way. It's mostly a local run, quick hops to Wartburg, Dalton, and Pietermaritzburg for supplies, with PZB airport 43 km off. Don't expect much in the way of EV charging, so juice up in Maritzburg. Fun fact, the town's named straight after Hanover in Germany, thanks to the old German settlers who farmed this area.
