Mountain Hare

Mountain Hare lies in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The A470 connects it to Cardiff (25 miles south) and continues north toward Brecon, whilst the A4054 links eastward to the A465 Heads of the Valleys road. Electric vehicle charging is well-covered with roughly 90 public fast chargers in the area. The village is named after mountain hares that vanished from Wales centuries ago, surviving only in local place names.
