3About Moscow
Moscow is a small East Ayrshire village sharing its name with Russia's capital but offering quintessentially Scottish countryside instead. Reached via the A719 from Galston, it's about 45 minutes from Glasgow via the M77 and A71. The village takes its name from a local farm christened during the Napoleonic Wars when Russian names were fashionable among Scottish landowners.
