Monument is a Krugersdorp suburb on Gauteng's West Rand, named for the nearby Vrouemonument and sitting on high ground with cooler evenings than Jozi. The N14 runs straight through, with the R28 and R24 linking you to Randfontein and Roodepoort. Most trips are short hops to Noordheuwel, Silverfields or Delporton, though the N1 takes commuters to Isando and OR Tambo, about 59 km off. Over 60 fast chargers keep EV drivers sorted, and the suburb sits right under the Lanseria flight path, so expect the odd small plane overhead.
