Monkey Street

Monkey Street is a small Essex settlement about 15km northwest of Colchester, reached via the A120 and local roads from the A12. The area connects several rural villages including Little Bentley and Great Bromley through narrow country lanes. With around 90 EV chargers nearby and good links to Colchester, it serves mainly local traffic heading to market towns or the coast. The name comes from The Monkey pub that once stood here on the old coaching routes.
