3About Millstreet
Millstreet is a market town of 1,500 people in north County Cork, sitting where the Blackwater valley meets the Boggeragh Mountains. The N72 runs straight through the centre, linking Mallow (25 km east) and Killarney (30 km west). Most visitors come via the N20 from Cork city, turning off at Mallow for a lovely drive through farmland. Cork is 45 minutes away, Dublin about 3.5 hours. The town famously hosted Eurovision twice in the 1990s at the Green Glens Arena, making it one of the most unlikely venues ever for Europe's biggest music competition.
