Melkridge is a small Northumberland village positioned along the A69 corridor, 3km from Haltwhistle in the South Tyne valley. The A69 provides the main access route between Newcastle and Carlisle, whilst local roads connect to nearby settlements like Bardon Mill and RAF Spadeadam.
