Meeker, CO

Meeker is a small ranching town in northwest Colorado that serves as the gateway to the Flat Tops Wilderness. Highway 13 runs right through town, connecting to Rifle 42 miles south via scenic Piceance Creek Canyon, and Craig 90 miles north. Most visitors arrive from Denver via I-70 to Rifle, then north on Highway 13. The historic Meeker Hotel on Main Street, built in 1896, once hosted President Teddy Roosevelt during his hunting trips.
