Mdantsane, just inland from East London, links up easily via the N2 to Qonce, Bhisho, and the coast. It's a quick hop to East London, Zwelitsha, or Gonubie for locals, while visitors from Cape Town or KZN are looking at a proper long haul, over 1000 km in some cases. King Phalo Airport is 25 km out, and you'll find about 4 fast EV chargers nearby. Fun fact, Mdantsane is SA's second biggest township after Soweto, still organised into its old NU zones from NU1 to NU18.
