Markham Moor

Markham Moor is essentially a large roundabout where the A1 meets the A57 in Nottinghamshire, about 20 miles north of Nottingham. It's a key stop for long-distance traffic heading to Scotland via the A1 or crossing the Pennines on the A57 to Sheffield. The area has over 50 EV charging points, making it popular with electric vehicle drivers on longer journeys. The roundabout itself is famously enormous and known locally as "the island."
