About Malltraeth

Malltraeth is a small Anglesey village on the A4080 coastal road, positioned where the River Cefni meets the sea. The A4080 connects south to Newborough's famous beach and north to the A55 via Gaerwen for mainland access. Locals often drive short distances to Bodorgan station or Newborough, whilst longer trips head to the A55 at Junction 7 for Bangor and beyond. The village overlooks the Malltraeth Sands, where Wales' longest river on Anglesey creates an important wetland nature reserve.
