Magabeni

Magabeni's a township inland from the South Coast, near Umbumbulu, with Craigieburn and Umkomaas just down the road. Most folks reach it off the N2, then cut inland through the cane fields. Local runs like the 63 km hop to KwaMashu are common, but you'll also see long-haulers passing through from as far as Bizana, Mtubatuba, even the Free State. There's one fast EV charger nearby, handy before pushing on. Fun fact: the township's grid layout dates back to a 1960s resettlement plan, still visible today.
