About Loudwater

Loudwater is a small residential area in the Chiltern Hills, part of High Wycombe's urban spread where the River Wye cuts through chalk downlands. Access is via Junction 2 of the M40, then local roads, or the A40 London-Oxford route. The A404 links to the M4 corridor, whilst the A4094 provides the main connection to High Wycombe centre 4km away. With over 250 EV charging points nearby and Heathrow 30km southeast, it's well-positioned for both local commuting and longer journeys. The settlement takes its name from the distinctive sound of water rushing over an ancient weir on the River Wye.
