Lothmore

Lothmore is a small coastal village in Sutherland, accessible via the A99 from Helmsdale, which connects to the A9 Highland route from Inverness about 90km south. The dramatic coastline and nearby fishing communities make it popular with tourists exploring Scotland's far north, whilst locals use short hops to Helmsdale for amenities. The village retains one of Scotland's most northerly traditional fishing harbours, where boats still work using centuries-old methods.
