Lothbeg

Lothbeg lies along the A99 coastal route in Sutherland, part of a string of small Highland settlements between Helmsdale and Wick. The A99 provides the main connection north to John o' Groats or south toward Inverness, whilst local roads link neighboring crofting communities. About 6 EV charging points serve the wider area. The name derives from Gaelic for "muddy place," aptly describing the peaty coastal terrain.
