3About Longwood
Longwood is a small County Meath town about 50 kilometres northwest of Dublin, reached in just over an hour via the M3 to Junction 7, then the R154 west. It's become a popular day trip spot for Dubliners looking to escape the city. The town is known for The Millennium Maze and two decent golf courses at Rathcore and Knightsbrook. The local Catholic church has one of only four medieval round towers left standing in Meath, making it worth a quick look.
