About Llanwrin

Llanwrin lies along the A489 in the Dyfi Valley, 6km from Machynlleth. Most visitors arrive via the A487 coastal road, turning inland at Machynlleth, or from the east via the A458 through Mallwyd. The village church contains a rare 14th-century wooden effigy of a knight, one of few such carvings surviving in Wales.
