Llantwit Major sits on the Vale of Glamorgan coast, reached via the A4226 from M4 junction 33. Most visitors come from Cardiff, about 20 miles east, whilst the coastal B4265 offers a prettier route from Barry. Cardiff Airport is just 8 miles away, and there are over 60 EV charging points locally. The town claims to house Britain's first university, established by Saint Illtud around 500 AD.
