Llannon

Llannon is a former mining village in Carmarthenshire, reached via the A476 from Llanelli or through Cross Hands on the B4309. The town sits among the green valleys of the old coalfield, with routes originally built for the collieries now serving commuter traffic to nearby towns. Its most notable landmark is the old railway bridge, a stone arch that once carried coal trains and remains a striking reminder of the area's industrial past.
