Llanfachraeth

Llanfachraeth is a small Anglesey village reached via local roads from the A5, about 20 minutes from Holyhead or 45 minutes from Bangor. The surrounding countryside features traditional stone-walled fields and farmsteads typical of western Anglesey. The village name means "church of the small field," and the medieval church still sits amongst the same compact agricultural plots that inspired the name centuries ago.
