Llancillo

Llancillo lies in the Welsh Borders countryside between the Black Mountains and Wye Valley. Reach it via the A465 to the south or A438 from Hay-on-Wye, then minor roads. Local trips connect to Pandy (3km) and Monmouth (15km), whilst longer routes use the M50 and A40. The 12th-century Church of St. Peter houses remarkable medieval wall paintings discovered beneath Reformation whitewash.
