About Llanaber

Llanaber lies just south of Barmouth on the Gwynedd coast, where the Mawddach Estuary opens into Cardigan Bay. The A496 coastal road connects it to Barmouth and runs south through Snowdonia National Park's coastal fringe. Most visitors arrive via the A470 from Dolgellau, whilst long-distance routes use the A55 before heading south through the mountains. The village houses St. Bodfan's Church, containing some of Wales's finest surviving medieval stained glass.
