Lintz

Lintz is a small Durham village southwest of Gateshead, reached via the A692 from Consett or A694 through Rowlands Gill from Newcastle. The A1 provides main arterial access, whilst local roads connect surrounding settlements like Burnopfield. With over 250 EV charging points nearby and Newcastle Airport 25km northeast, it's well-connected despite its rural setting. The old colliery railway cutting survives as a walking trail with original Victorian stonework still visible.
