Lehurutshe

Lehurutshe is a small North West dorpie near the Botswana border, once part of old Bophuthatswana, and you can still spot bits of that history in the older government buildings around town. Get there via the N4 through Zeerust, then onto the R49, a quick under-an-hour drive through maize fields and cattle country. Most visits are local hops from nearby towns rather than long treks, and EV drivers should charge up in Zeerust or Rustenburg beforehand, since charging stations are scarce out this way.
