About Laragh (Wicklow)

Laragh is a small mountain village in County Wicklow that acts as the main gateway to Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains National Park. The village sits on the R755, about an hour's drive from Dublin via the N11 and R752 through Rathdrum. It's positioned at the junction of several popular hiking routes leading to the Spinc and Camaderry peaks. The local Glendalough Distillery produces whiskey and gin using water straight from the Glenealo River that flows right past their doors. Electric vehicle charging becomes limited once you head deeper into the mountains from here.
