About Kinlochewe

Kinlochewe sits at the head of Loch Maree in the Highlands, gateway to Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve and some brilliant walking country. Take the A832 from Achnasheen or approach via Torridon for proper mountain views. The village has a couple of fast EV chargers and serves as base camp for tackling Munros like Slioch and Beinn Eighe. The visitor centre displays a 350-year-old Scots pine that finally gave up the ghost after centuries of Highland weather.
