Kiltegan

Ireland

Kiltegan is a small County Wicklow village about 50 kilometers southwest of Dublin, where the Wicklow Mountains meet the gentler countryside of south Leinster. The main route from Dublin goes south on the M50 to M9, then west on R747 through Baltinglass. From Cork or the southwest, take M8 and M9 north, exit at Carlow for R724 and R747 through Tullow. Electric vehicle charging is available in Baltinglass and nearby market towns, with golf courses like Mount Wolseley and Rathsallagh within easy reach. The village is famous for the Kiltegan Fathers missionary society, founded in 1930, whose seminary buildings still dominate the skyline.
