Kilmersdon

England

Kilmersdon is a Somerset village on the A367 between Bath and the Mendips, about 15km southwest of Bath. Most visitors arrive via the A4 from Bath, then follow the A367 south. The village sits in former coal mining country, now returned to farming, and the Red Lion pub claims to be the birthplace of "Humpty Dumpty," complete with the original wall in its garden.
