Kildorrery

Kildorrery is a handy stopping point on the N72 between Cork city and Killarney, about 15 kilometers west of Mallow. Most folk arrive via the N72 from either direction, with Cork city about 45 minutes away via the N20 to Mallow. The town sits in the Blackwater Valley with rolling hills all around, and there's decent charging infrastructure for electric cars along this route. The old stone railway viaduct dominates the town center, a grand reminder of when trains used to cross the valley here.
