Kgotsong

South African English DESCRIPTION Kgotsong, right next to Bothaville in the Free State, sits smack in the maize triangle and is easiest to reach via the R30, linking through to Kroonstad and Klerksdorp. Locals nip through to Bothaville, Orkney and Leeudoringstad for daily errands, while Klerksdorp, an hour off, has the bigger shops and the nearest airport, P C Pelser, about 68 km away. Out-of-towners tend to arrive from further afield, Gauteng and Mpumalanga way. Fun fact: Bothaville next door hosts Nampo, one of the world's biggest farming shows.
