Jockey End is a small Hertfordshire village on the B4540 between Studham and Great Gaddesden, set in the Chilterns' chalk hills. Most visitors reach it via the A5 and B4540 from the M1's Junction 9, about 10 minutes away, or locally from Luton via the A505. London Luton Airport is just 15 minutes northeast. The village gets its name from an 18th-century racecourse that once operated here.
