Hubberholme is a tiny Wharfedale hamlet reached via the B6160 from Grassington, about 15km through Kettlewell. The narrow road continues north toward Fleet Moss, one of England's highest motor routes to Hawes, though it closes in winter. Most visitors come from Grassington or brave the challenging western approach from the Dales' market towns. The George Inn was once owned by J.B. Priestley, who left it to Bradford University.
